Gateway church media wall

(2019)

This project was completed during my time at Accomplice. Gateway Church has eight campuses in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and are continuing construction on new facilities. As a part of this effort they wanted to build a showroom highlighting the work they are doing. They hired us to build a digital history touchscreen system that featured photos, videos and musical recordings to celebrate 2020 as their 20th anniversary.

The system features four 55” touchscreens mounted vertically on a wall, each with a parabolic directional speaker for to allow for individual experiences. The system was built with Touchdesigner and features an incredibly complex CMS that we built from the ground up that allows them to upload photos, videos, and audio files from any computer via Wordpress. We built the system with over 400 pieces of content to start. The system features an idle mode for each screen, and admin controls to refresh the content, restart the software, or reboot the computer from within the experience.

This was a permanent install and is still on display at their Southlake campus just outside of Dallas, TX.
